Membership is open to all Ex-fire fighters etc. Membership fees for 2012 are £5.00. Cheques should be made payable to "Northern Ireland EX-Fire Fighters, Mid Ulster Association" and addressed to the Treasurer.

Served in Cookstown Station as a retained firefighter and retired with the rank of L/F. John is now the chairman of Mid Ulster Ex-Firefighters.

Brendan started as a Cadet Firefighter with Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS). To find out more about the Cadet scheme, Click here. He is now currently Secretary and also takes care of our website and other enquiry's.

Dessy served in Cookstown Fire Station for 25 years. He joined the Northern Ireland Fire Brigade to serve the community in 1974,  he was promoted to leading fire-fighter in 1984 and then again promoted to Sub Officer (O.I.C) of Cookstown Station in 1986. Dessy also was decorated and awarded the fire service long service and good conduct medal. Dessy then Retired in 1998 and today is a Cadet Leader with Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service along with being Vice-Chair in the association.

Charlie joined the service in Magherafelt were he rose to the rank of Section Leader before becoming a full time officer in Londonderry, Lisburn and the Cookstown area. His father and three brothers were also in the service. His son, Eoin, is the Present Asst. Chief Fire Officer in Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service

Served in Cookstown Fire Station as a Retained Firefighter. Kevin has been the welfare officer for quite a while and doing a great job
